Privacy Policy and Notice

BIANQUI is committed to handling your personal information responsibly and transparently. Below you will find, in plain language, what we collect, how we use it, with whom it is shared, and how to reach us about your data. This policy took effect on September 25, 2026.

1. Categories of Personal Information

The personal information we handle falls into these groups: (1) contact and identity data such as your name, email, postal addresses and phone number; (2) transaction data — what you bought, when, and the payment method used, with card details handled entirely by Shopify Payments (powered by Stripe) and never stored by us in full; (3) correspondence, including support requests, return forms and product reviews; (4) technical data collected automatically — IP address, device and browser information, pages visited and how you interact with them, via cookies described in our Cookie Policy; and (5) your marketing choices.

Our store runs on Shopify, which hosts the Site and processes orders on our behalf. This policy applies to information collected through bianqui.com, by email, WhatsApp, phone and our contact and return forms.

3. How Long We Keep Your Information

We keep order and transaction records for 7 years after the purchase to meet tax, accounting and warranty obligations; customer service correspondence for 3 years after the last contact; marketing preferences for as long as you remain subscribed and for a reasonable period after you unsubscribe so we can honor your choice; and analytics data in aggregated form. Information is deleted or anonymized when no longer needed for these purposes, unless a longer period is required by law or to resolve a dispute.

4. Third Parties

We do not sell your personal information, and we share it only as needed to run our business: with Shopify (platform hosting, checkout and order management); payment processors (Shopify Payments (powered by Stripe) and the payment methods you choose) to authorize payments and prevent fraud; shipping carriers and fulfillment partners such as USPS, UPS and JS Express located in the United States, China and the European Union, who receive your name, address and phone number to deliver your order; tracking, email and customer service tools that help us communicate with you; analytics and advertising partners (such as Google and Meta) that process usage data through cookies as described in our Cookie Policy; and authorities or advisers when required by law, to enforce our terms, or to protect rights and safety. If the business is sold or merged, customer data may be transferred to the successor under the same commitments.

5. Why We Use Your Data

Your information is used for the purposes for which you gave it and for related purposes you would reasonably expect: fulfilling and shipping orders and keeping you informed about them; answering questions and resolving problems; detecting and preventing fraudulent transactions; meeting our legal and accounting obligations; understanding how the Site is used so we can improve it; and marketing, only where you have agreed or where the law allows us to contact existing customers about similar products, always with an easy way to opt out.

6. Data Security

We protect personal information with technical and organizational measures appropriate to the risk: the Site is served over HTTPS/TLS, payments are processed by PCI-DSS certified providers, access to customer data is limited to people who need it, and our platform providers maintain independent security certifications. No method of transmission over the internet is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security; if a breach affecting your data occurs we will notify you and the relevant authorities as required by law.

7. Privacy Rights for U.S. Residents

We extend the following rights to every customer in the United States, whether or not your state's privacy law applies to a business of our size: to know what data we have about you and receive a copy; to correct it; to have it deleted, except what we must keep for orders, taxes or disputes; and to opt out of marketing, targeted advertising (controls on the Cookie preferences page) and any sale or sharing of personal information (we sell none). Requests go to info@bianqui.com; we confirm your identity through your order email and answer within 45 days, and you can appeal a refusal by replying. Exercising your rights never affects the price or service you receive. Maryland residents: the Maryland Online Data Privacy Act, Md. Code, Com. Law § 14-4601 et seq. may grant additional rights, enforceable through the state Attorney General. We do not respond to Do Not Track browser signals; we do treat a Global Privacy Control signal as an opt-out of targeted advertising cookies.

8. Children Under 13

The Site is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 13, in accordance with the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, contact info@bianqui.com and we will delete it promptly.

9. Email Communications

We send marketing emails only to customers and subscribers, and you can stop them at any time using the unsubscribe link at the bottom of each message or by emailing info@bianqui.com; we process the request within 10 business days. Our emails always show who they are from and our physical mailing address, in compliance with the CAN-SPAM Act. Opting out of marketing does not affect order confirmations, shipping notices or replies to your requests.

10. Policy Changes

This policy is reviewed regularly. When we change it, the new version is posted here with a new effective date; significant changes are also communicated by a notice on the Site or by email. We encourage you to check this page from time to time.
